Emil "Magisk" Reif is the winner of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of BLAST Pro Series Lisbon by HLTV.org and betway.
The 20-year-old scoops the honour thanks to his remarkable consistency, having recorded 1.25+ ratings in every map won by Astralis throughout the tournament. This ultimately set him apart from teammate Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, who had a disappointing performance on Cache in the final, in what was a very close race for the award.
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev was also in contention for the prize, but he fell off the radar on the last two maps of the final, which brought his tournament rating down to 1.22.
Magisk, who averaged a 1.39 rating - his second best at a Big Event -, had the highest rating of the event, together with dupreeh, and led the tournament charts for KDD (+68), damage difference per round (+26.4), deaths per round (0.51) and total headshots (86).
This is Magisk's very first MVP award, capping off a fantastic year from the 20-year-old, who has averaged a 1.17 rating at Big Events since joining Astralis, in February.
